When the fibre needs help
Hair that breaks at mid-length, frequent split ends, reduced elasticity or hair that feels rough and dry: these are all signals that the hair’s structure has been weakened and needs a reconstruction programme.
Hair fragility can have different causes, from repeated chemical treatments to excessive heat use, nutritional deficiencies or an inadequate care routine.
Common signs
- Hair that breaks at mid-length when brushing
- Frequent split ends that are difficult to eliminate
- Dry, rough or dull hair fibre
- Loss of elasticity: hair that does not bounce back after stretching
- Lengths that seem progressively shorter and inconsistent
Common causes
- Colour, bleaching or perms repeated over time
- Excessive heat (blow-drying, straightening, curling)
- Aggressive or unsuitable products
- Nutritional deficiencies (proteins, amino acids, vitamin E)
- Prolonged exposure to sun, salt water and chlorine
- Mechanical friction (elastic bands, rough towels)
What Kronocare does
The check-up allows the condition of the hair fibre to be assessed and the main causes of fragility identified. The programme includes reconstruction treatments in the Hair Lab, such as Hair Spa, oxygenation and ozone, together with a home-care routine with professional products to restore elasticity and strength. All consultations are available in English.
